Welcome to NHS Conferences and NHS Courses for Clinical Research Services

From Clinical Research Management to Costing for Clinical Research, every NHS course offered in this area shares practical, strategic and planning advice to help your Clinical Research team to initiate, develop and advance your Clinical Trials.

Each NHS conference is only one day, and all are designed to equip attendees with new approaches, contacts and motivation. By coming together with Heads and Directors of Research, RM&G and Research and Development Managers, Trail Co-ordinators, Facilitators and Managers and Research Nurses, Co-ordinators and Administrators you can network, learn and share ideas.

Featuring in 2017/2018 are:

  • 'Clinical Research Contracts in Practice' which will share examples of day to day working. As a case-study led NHS course, it will focus on the contractual challenges that can come up in commercial trials, investigator initiative studies, academic studies and further contracts outside the model agreement.

  • By sharing systems and procedures, strategies and logic, 'NHS Commercial Clinical Research: Costings in Practice' will identify what is not reasonable, spot errors and correct mistakes. When confidence in costing is essential for effective control, this practical NHS course will help your learning by working through actual studies of difficult costing.

  • 'Introduction to Effective Clinical Research Management' will offer practical strategies for; building a robust infrastructure, streamlining processes and ensuring good patient recruitment. It will take attendees step by step through the processes required to achieve internal support and lay the vital foundation for an effective study delivery.

Each NHS conference is researched directly with potential attendees to identify what should be included and how each topic could be covered. By building in case study, discussion, best practice and interactive time into each programme, the aim is to strengthen NHS professionals’ knowledge and confidence. When you can go back to your workplace with an enhanced understanding and an accurate benchmark of where your service is and where you want to be, we know the event has succeeded.
