What is it about?
Liaison psychiatry services are a key part of the government’s mental health strategy, but without a standard service model, services are being set up on an ad hoc basis, with clinicians and managers having little opportunity to network with their peers from other services. This day brings together mental health liaison professionals including Consultant Psychiatrists & Liaison Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses and Service Managers, as well as commissioners, to learn from innovative service models and gain new ideas and strategies to use in their own teams.
