Meet colleagues tackling the same challenges as you
This conference is designed for healthcare professionals involved in developing and delivering lower-limb services and improving pathways across primary, community and specialist care.
It will be particularly valuable for:
SBK Healthcare brings NHS professionals together to share practical experience, learn from colleagues who are making change happen and take useful ideas back to their own services.
We spoke directly with healthcare professionals working across lower-limb services to understand what would make this forum valuable. Their experiences and priorities have helped shape this programme.
“It's about not reinventing the wheel. If you've got examples of where things have worked and where somebody's achieved – it would be great to share in that.”
“I am looking for ideas that I can take back to practice to implement. I want to heal more patients, and I want more patients to buy into their own self-care.”
“We need better communication and greater collaboration so patients get referred”
“Are there any services that are doing some projects or ways or pathways that speed up the healing process?”
“What are they doing with their patients regarding Immediate and Necessary Care, that would be the biggest thing. Are they all getting the same treatment?”
This conference provides practical examples of how NHS teams are making change happen - from redesigning lower-limb pathways and improving access to vascular care, to strengthening compression competency, supporting housebound and complex patients and improving engagement and concordance. Hear what other services have tried, what has worked and what they have learnt, share experiences with colleagues across the lower-limb pathway and leave with practical ideas you can take back and implement within your own service.
