This course was designed for NHS professionals in patient-facing roles who encounter patients with ADHD and are committed to creating an accessible, inclusive and effective service

This interactive training day combined clinical expertise, lived perspective, reflective discussion and practical application. Those in attendance Invested one day to strengthen their understanding of ADHD and build neuro-cultural competence. This course taught the participants how to adapt communication and consultations with confidence. Attendees left this course equipped with realistic strategies to enable and empower patients with ADHD to work with them effectively within their service and treatment.

ADHD in everyday NHS practice

This dedicated online course gave those who joined the understanding, confidence and practical tools to improve outcomes for patients with ADHD within their NHS service.

  • Building a clearer understanding of ADHD, including what it is (and isn’t) and how co-occurring presentations can shape assessment and care planning
  • Strengthening your ability to engage patients with ADHD  by exploring how assumptions, barriers and service design can impact communication, trust and treatment pathways
  • Developing neuro-cultural competence in practice, learning how to remain patient-centred through validation, reframing and realistic adjustments
  • Taking away practical strategies to create more accessible consultations and neuro-inclusive services, supported by real-world examples and an action plan for immediate implementation
