Laura holds the post of Assistant Director - Integration, Education and Innovation and leads the education service at the world-renowned Leicester Diabetes Centre. This includes the Eden team - a talented, award winning team of clinicians, educators and researchers dedicated to developing education. The programmes are delivered locally, nationally, and internationally.
A physiotherapist by background, Laura blends a clinical and patient focused lens, with a depth and breadth of leadership, management, and organisational development experience. This combines to provide an expertise and passion for innovation, integration, and education – all designed to build knowledge and confidence of health care professionals – and the subsequent improvement in patient outcomes. Her strongest value is to “make a difference”.
Laura has worked in diabetes care for many years and the commitment to improve care for people living with diabetes and associated conditions is ever present.
